Romantic story no.2Andrew wiped the film of swear from his row as he shovelled a load of coal into the gaping jaws of the furnace. With it he tried to wipe away the monotony of his job, his overwhelming sense of fatigue and the feeling emptiness his life was causing him. He had a beautiful wife and two angelic daughters, yet still he didnt feel complete. He had been told that being the engine-hand of a steam-train was not a glamorous job at the best of times, with the London-Liverpool run being no exception. Fate vs ChanceThe layer of smoke that billowed above the city was tainted blood red by the glow of a thousand fires, and it was by this glow that Terathoul ran. Since he had removed his helmet two streets back, the acrid smell of burning oil tore at his nostrils, threatening to end his eternal retreat from the beasts that pursued him. He ran in a straight line, leaping onto the bonnets of cars and down again with a single-minded determination. He chanced a glance over his shoulder as he approached what one had been a multi-lane highway, which was now a showroom of abandoned vehicles, some with their headlights still on. The HoneymoonThe sun had almost set behind the treetops of the forest when they came to a clearing not far from the road on which their horse had been injured. In the clearing stood a large manor, with smoke billowing airily from one of the several chimneys that protruded from its tiled roof. Grady embraced his wife Andrea reassuringly as their guide Alistair, recommended to them by Andrea's brother in law, approached the lone building and knocked on the pair of large double doors. please post more of one of your stories, im running out of thigs to read.
Also Double~o~Nothing, i think you misread the post, i posted the link not him, he isnt even a member of the forum, he keeps telling me to get people to read his story so i did, i said that in the post (on a completely different website, for the benefit of other people reading this)
